MEET THE CHARACTERS
Meet some of the wonderful characters who call Mythical Land home. Each has their own personality, their own story and their own little bit of magic.
Curious, creative and always ready to explore
Hettie sees possibility everywhere. Curious, creative and full of wonder, she loves exploring Mythical Land — although her brilliant ideas have a habit of turning into wonderfully muddled adventures.
Loves: Exploring, creating and discovering something new
Thoughtful, curious and kind
Og loves learning how things work and understanding the stories behind them. Thoughtful, curious and kind, he knows that sometimes the greatest adventures begin with a question.
Loves: Learning, stories and using his imagination
Wonderfully wicked-looking witch
A sharp tongue, stranger magic and a crooked grin. Hagwitch looks every bit the villain of the tale — but there is far more to her than first meets the eye.
Loves: Bubbling pots, clever riddles and being underestimated
Ancient and wise, keeper of the Wish Factory
Ancient and wise, Old Man Time helps wishes and dreams come true in his magical factory, where rainbow rivers flow backwards and the extraordinary comes to life. When you hear his bell toll, you know it’s time…
Loves: Twilight, Wishes and Wonder
GUEST STARS
TINY, TICKLISH AND FULL OF GLEE
Tiny as teacups and adorably cute, Gigglephants blow bubbles and sneeze confetti. But be careful—make them laugh and they inflate like balloons!
Loves: Bubbles, tickles and treats
NOISY, MISCHIEVOUS AND ALWAYS READY TO TOOT
Half monkey, half donkey—and all toot! Tootledoodles are playful, energetic and always on the move. Every Tootledoodle has its own unique musical toot, which they use to chatter, cheer and cause magnificent mayhem wherever they go.
Loves: Swinging, silliness and making lots of noise
EAGER, DETERMINED AND FULL OF HEART
Brim is desperate to pass Dragon School and become as big and brave as the other dragons. He’s always the first to volunteer for an adventure, even when he isn’t quite ready. With more enthusiasm than experience, things don’t always go to plan—but Brim never stops trying.
Loves: Adventures, helping his friends and trying his best
PUZZLING, PECULIAR AND FULL OF NONSENSE
Mumblewumbles know more than 14,000 confusing words—and like to use as many as possible in every sentence. They speak in riddles, muddles and upside-down thoughts that make perfect sense to them. Only Hagwitch understands what they’re saying.
Loves: Hats, shiny things and answering questions nobody asked
FLUFFY, FABULOUS AND FULL OF FEELINGS
Moopacas are the most dramatic creatures in Mythical Land. They communicate through enormous sighs, while their magical wool changes shape to match their mood. Every morning brings a fabulous new hairstyle — and, usually, drama to go with it!
Loves: Compliments, posing and fabulous hair
POCKET-SIZED, PUFFY AND PRONE TO SPARKLE
Fluffle Dragons love learning new tricks — but when they get excited, they breathe glitter everywhere! Tiny, playful and full of mischief, they can turn even the grumpiest grumble into a giggle.
Loves: New tricks, marshmallow moss and playing games
FLUFFY SLEEPERS AND MAGICAL CLOUD MAKERS
Dreammuffs can sleep for up to twenty hours a day. But be careful — if you wake them, they snore out enormous candyfloss clouds! The bigger the snore, the bigger the cloud.
Loves: Snoozing, moonberries and cosy cuddles
LOYAL, CAUTIOUS AND VERY FOND OF RULES
Gus guards the bridge leading into Fenland Forest with his trusty rule book always close at hand. When something unexpected occurs, Gus gets nervous—and out pops an enormous BURRRP! He may worry easily, but he’s loyal, kind and much braver than he realises.
Loves: His rule book, helpful signposts and good instructions
LOYAL, LUMINOUS AND ALWAYS NEARBY
Lumi is Hettie’s best friend and is always by her side — even when she can’t be seen. Gentle and loyal, she appears when Hettie needs her most, shining brightly to guide the way through even the darkest moments.
Loves: Guiding, moonlight and sparkling crystals
MISCHIEVOUS, RESOURCEFUL AND DELIGHTFULLY CLUMSY
Deep beneath Fendon Forest, the goblins dig winding tunnels in search of crystals and precious gems. Clever and endlessly resourceful, wherever goblins go, mischief and muddles are never far behind!
Loves: Shiny treasures, curious inventions and underground adventures
